MCU-219 The INA219 module is a zero-drift, bidirectional current/power supervisory integrated circuit (IC) with I2C interface.
With the industry’s highest accuracy and smallest size, the INA219 not only monitors the voltage drop across the shunt resistor, senses the shunt supply voltage, but also calculates the power supply.
The INA219 achieves 1% maximum error accuracy over a temperature range of -40C to +85C with a maximum offset of 100 uV.
The high accuracy combined with the 12-bit resolution of the product helps the user to reduce the voltage drop across the shunt resistor as much as possible, thereby minimizing power loss and power consumption and saving board space. The device can sense bus voltages from 0 V to +26 V.

Other important features of the NA219 :
The programmable calibration register reads current directly in amps and reads power in watts.
Up to 128 samples can be averaged for filtering in noisy environments.
The I2C interface has a time-out setting that not only prevents bus lock-up but also provides a high-speed mode that meets communication requirements up to 3.4 MHz.
All features of the INA219 support software programmable.
It operates from a single supply and operates from +3.0 to +5.5V.
