The DHT22 is an affordable digital sensor designed to measure temperature and humidity. It uses a capacitive sensor for humidity and a thermistor for temperature, outputting data digitally through a single data pin—no analog input required. While it’s easy to use, precise timing is necessary to read the data correctly.
