SN74LS123N (74LS123)

1,100.00

Description:

The SN74LS123N is a dual monostable multivibrator with two independent monostable circuits in a single package. Each monostable multivibrator can be triggered by either a positive-going or a negative-going pulse on the input (A or B). The duration of the output pulse is determined by an external resistor (R) and capacitor (C) connected to the timing control inputs (RA, RB). This IC is widely used in digital electronics for generating accurate time delays, pulse-width modulation (PWM), and synchronization applications.

Key Features:

  • Dual monostable multivibrator with two independent circuits in one package
  • Retriggerable operation: new trigger pulse resets the output pulse width
  • Wide operating voltage range: 4.75V to 5.25V
  • TTL compatible inputs and outputs
  • Fast propagation delay: typically 30 ns at VCC = 5V
  • Low power consumption: typically ICC = 1.5 mA at VCC = 5V
  • Stable operation over a wide range of temperatures and supply voltages

Technical Specifications:

  • Package Type: 16-pin DIP (Dual In-line Package)
  • Supply Voltage (VCC): 4.75V to 5.25V
  • Input Voltage (VIN): 0V to VCC
  • Output Voltage (VOUT): 0V to VCC
  • Input High Voltage (VIH): 2V (min) at VCC = 5V
  • Input Low Voltage (VIL): 0.8V (max) at VCC = 5V
  • Output Current (IOH, IOL): ±8 mA (max)
  • Quiescent Supply Current (ICC): 1.5 mA (typical) at VCC = 5V
  • Operating Temperature Range: 0°C to +70°C

Applications:

  • Pulse-width modulation (PWM) generators
  • Precision time delay circuits
  • Frequency division and timing circuits
  • Digital pulse generation and synchronization
  • Control and sequencing circuits in microprocessor systems
