MOC3061 optocoupler

MOC3061 optocoupler

400.00

Description:

The MOC3061 is an optocoupler consisting of a GaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon detector, designed to function as a zero voltage crossing bilateral TRIAC driver. This device facilitates the interface of low-voltage logic signals with equipment powered by 115/240 VAC lines, such as solid-state relays, industrial controls, motors, and consumer appliances.

Key Features:

  • Simplifies Logic Control of 115/240 VAC Power
  • Zero Voltage Crossing to Minimize Conducted and Radiated Line Noise
  • 600 V Peak Blocking Voltage
  • Superior Static dv/dt: 600 V/µs (MOC3061M)
  • Safety and Regulatory Approvals: UL1577, 4170 VACRMS for 1 Minute, DIN EN/IEC60747−5−5
  • Pb-Free Devices

Technical Specifications:

  • Package Type: PDIP6 8.51×6.35, 2.54P
  • Input Forward Voltage (VF): 1.3 to 1.5 V
  • Reverse Leakage Current (IR): 0.005 to 100 µA
  • Peak Blocking Current (IDRM1): 10 to 500 nA
  • Critical Rate of Rise of Off-State Voltage (dv/dt): 600 to 1500 V/µs
  • LED Trigger Current (IFT): 5 to 15 mA
  • Peak On-State Voltage (VTM): 1.8 to 3.0 V
  • Holding Current (IH): 500 µA
  • Inhibit Voltage (VINH): 12 to 20 V
  • Leakage in Inhibited State (IDRM2): up to 2 mA

Applications:

  • Solenoid/Valve Controls
  • Static Power Switches
  • Temperature Controls
  • AC Motor Starters
  • Lighting Controls
  • AC Motor Drives
  • E.M. Contactors
  • Solid State Relays
