Description:

The Light Source/Solar Tracking Module is designed to adjust the orientation of solar panels or light-sensitive devices to maximize exposure to light sources. It uses light sensors to detect the intensity of light from different directions and adjusts the position of the solar panel or device accordingly.

Key Features:

  • Light Sensing: Utilizes multiple light sensors to detect light intensity from different directions.
  • Automatic Adjustment: Adjusts the position of the solar panel or device to maintain optimal light exposure.
  • High Sensitivity: Detects slight variations in light intensity for precise tracking.
  • Compact Design: Space-efficient module suitable for various applications.
  • Robust Construction: Designed for durability in outdoor environments.

Technical Specifications:

  • Sensor Type: Light-dependent resistors (LDR) or photodiodes
  • Operating Voltage: Typically 5V DC
  • Output: Analog or digital signal based on light intensity
  • Adjustment Mechanism: Servo motors or stepper motors for physical orientation changes
  • Dimensions: Varies based on design

Applications:

  • Solar Panels: Enhances solar energy capture by keeping panels aligned with the sun.
  • Light-sensitive Devices: Optimizes light exposure for cameras or sensors.
  • Robotics: Provides light-following capabilities for robots or autonomous vehicles.
  • Outdoor Lighting: Adjusts lighting fixtures to follow the sun or other light sources for improved efficiency.

1. The power supply uses a 5-5.5V DC power supply with a current of less than 1.5A.
2. The motor uses a geared motor, the slower the better. If the motor speed is too fast, it may cause the motor to align with the center of the light source, but swings left and right, but does not shake. This circuit uses a short delay of anti-shake.
3. When the motor and the board are connected, the positive and negative poles are not divided. If the motor is found to rotate in the opposite direction to the light source during the test, the motor line can be changed.
4. The power supply must be regulated to 5.5-5.5V and cannot be directly connected to the solar panel.
Technical Specifications:
Voltage: 5-5.5V DC
Current: <1.5A
Principle: Use a covering on the photosensitive nozzle, when the light is shining on the obstruction to form a shadow, the light on one side
When the difference is formed with the other side, the motor is controlled to find the balance point, that is, the center of the light source.
Size: 35x16x12 mm
