74HC241 logic chip

850.00

The 74HC241 is a high-speed CMOS octal buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs. It consists of eight non-inverting buffers/drivers designed to be employed as memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented transmitters/receivers. The device features two output enable (OE) inputs, each controlling four outputs, providing the capability to drive bus lines or buffer memory address registers. The 3-state outputs make it ideal for driving bus lines in bus-organized systems.

Key Features:

  • Eight non-inverting buffers/drivers
  • 3-state outputs for bus-oriented applications
  • Wide supply voltage range: 2V to 6V
  • High-speed CMOS technology
  • Low power consumption
  • High noise immunity
  • TTL-compatible inputs
  • Two output enable inputs for flexible control

Technical Specifications:

  • Supply Voltage (VCC): 2V to 6V
  • Input Voltage Range: 0V to VCC
  • High-Level Output Voltage (VOH): VCC – 0.1V (min at VCC = 4.5V)
  • Low-Level Output Voltage (VOL): 0.1V (max at VCC = 4.5V)
  • High-Level Input Voltage (VIH): 70% of VCC (min)
  • Low-Level Input Voltage (VIL): 30% of VCC (max)
  • Propagation Delay Time: 13 ns (typical at VCC = 5V)
  • Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to +85°C
  • Package: 20-pin DIP, SOIC, TSSOP

Applications:

  • Bus Drivers: Used to drive data buses in microprocessor systems.
  • Memory Address Drivers: Suitable for driving memory address registers.
  • Clock Drivers: Ideal for distributing clock signals in digital circuits.
  • Data Buffers: Used as data buffers in digital systems to prevent signal degradation.
