This module is a high-voltage inverter for the science production , the finished module of the transformer / booster
After inputting DC3.7V-6V at the input terminal, DC high voltage of tens of thousands of volts can be obtained at the output end.
It can be used as a high-voltage source in the general science experiment, electronic instrument, negative ion generator, and scientific small production.
The module is fabricated using the Tesla coil principle, which outputs high-voltage pulse current, small size and high efficiency.
The peripheral circuit is simple (just need to connect the switch, the battery can be) the discharge intensity is fierce.
Note that this is not a high temperature arc, you can’t smoke cigarettes.
Instructions
The module is divided into input and output. The red and green lines are the input terminals, red and green are negative, and the output is two high-voltage lines of the same color. The input terminal can be connected to the battery to generate high-voltage arc.
Please operate the module strictly according to the method of use and precautions, otherwise it will easily damage the module!
About input power: You can use a single 3.7V lithium battery or two series, such as 18650 battery, idle mobile phone battery (to remove the protection board, it is recommended to be above 2000mAh) or NiCd/NiMH battery, 4V or 6V lead Acid battery, etc. (6V battery can achieve the best results)
Note
1. The high-voltage module should avoid the use of high-voltage and no-load power. Before power-on, the appropriate distance of the high-voltage line must be adjusted. The arc-pull distance of the high-voltage line is proportional to the battery voltage and capacity used.
2. When testing the arc distance, it should be tested from short to long. When the power is on, it is forbidden to exceed the longest arcing distance. Because the high voltage energy cannot be released, the module is easily damaged.
3. the module’s power is large, the internal heat is not suitable, so it can not work for a long time, generally no problem within 10 seconds.
4. The way to determine whether the battery capacity can drive the maximum output power is to measure the battery voltage when the arc is pulled. If you are around 6V , you can output the maximum power.
5. The small-capacity lithium battery is connected in series at 7.2V . The voltage measured in the arc-sampling state has dropped to about 4V. The smaller the capacity, the lower the voltage is pulled. Therefore, it is recommended to use more than 2000MA lithium battery, and it is better to have a battery of 4000MA or more.
