KY-031 knock sensor module

The KY031 knock sensor module is ideal for adding detection of shocks and impacts to your project.

It can detect an event based on percussion (typical knock-knock knock type) to activate a function, controlling a relay etc.

The sensor has a very light spring locked at one end the opposite end is suspended over a large contact plate.

When an event occurs like a knock, the spring moves inside its transparent case hitting the plate.

This event can be detected by the microcontroller as a trigger event.
